In plain words
The RSS Page submodule in Monster Menus has a PHP object injection flaw when it processes input from the node creation form using PHP's unserialize function. An attacker can trigger it only if the RSS Page submodule is enabled and their role has the "RSS Feed: Create new content" permission.
Am I affected?
Look for drupal/monster_menus and its installed version in composer.lock. The advisory lists 9.5.6 as fixed but gives no affected version range. Check whether the RSS Page submodule is enabled and which roles have the "RSS Feed: Create new content" permission.
What to do
Check which version you have, then update to a fixed release for your branch (9.5.6):
composer show drupal/monster_menus | grep versions
composer update drupal/monster_menus
If your version constraint in composer.json keeps you below a fixed release, raise it first. Whether your configuration is affected, and the exact version ranges, are in the advisory itself.
If you cannot update yet
The vulnerability is mitigated by requiring the RSS Page submodule to be enabled and the attacker to have a role with the "RSS Feed: Create new content" permission.
The advisory's description
This module enables you to create one or more multisites with highly granular page permissions. The included RSS Page submodule allows you to create nodes which aggregate one or more RSS feeds.
When the input of the node creation form is processed, it makes use of PHP's unserialize function. This introduces a PHP object injection vulnerability.
This vulnerability is mitigated by the fact that the RSS Page submodule must be enabled and an attacker must have a role with the permission "RSS Feed: Create new content".
